The Gateway Upgrade Project is a $1.9 billion upgrade to the Gateway Motorway in Brisbane. The project involves the upgrading of 20 kilometres of the Gateway Motorway (from Mt Gravatt-Capalaba Road to Nudgee Road) and the duplication of the Gateway Bridge.

Halcrow MWT have been commissioned by the City of Sydney (CoS) for the Roads and Traffic Authority of NSW (RTA) to undertake Paramics micro-simulation modelling of CoS's cycleway proposals in the CBD precinct. The aim of this project is to assess the traffic impacts of those proposed cycleway facilities in conjunction with various intersection upgrades. The proposed cycleway facilities range from separated bicycle only lanes along side with general traffic, bicycle only signal phases and pedestrian scrambled phases.
