Senior Consultant, Traffic Modelling (Melbourne)
Halcrow in Melbourne (CBD office) has a position for a senior modeller with high level skills in VISSIM and/or Quadstone Paramics and who is interested in developing micro simulations of the interaction between all traffic modes including public transport vehicles and pedestrians. The position will involve devising and exploring complex traffic simulations to provide expert advice to senior officers in road and transport authorities, major development companies and architectural and town planning practices.
Applicants should have a relevant quantitative degree, ideally with graduate studies in either Traffic Engineering or Transport Planning, and should have more than five years of experience in the field of traffic modelling. The role requires excellent communication skills. A high standard of both spoken and written English are essential. Proficiency in MS Office applications is also essential.

Executive Traffic Engineer

The position is a high profile one involving interaction with senior officers of transport authorities, major development companies and well established architectural and town planning practices.

We are seeking a traffic engineer, in our Brisbane office, to deliver project work and provide technical and project support. Work includes the production of transport impact assessments, intersection designs and analysis, and preliminary highway designs.
Applicants should have a relevant degree, ideally in either Engineering or Transport Planning, and should have minimum five years of experience in the field of traffic engineering, or development transport planning. The role requires excellent communication skills and a high standard of spoken and written English are essential. Proficiency in SCATES, SIDRA, INTANAL and MS Office applications is essential.
