Penrith Plaza
In the late 1980s, Penrith Plaza was fully redeveloped. The directors of Halcrow MWT conducted a traffic impact assessment and provided design advice for internal traffic assignments. The work included updating and use of a Saturn traffic model.
Subsequently, Halcrow MWT was involved in two further expansions, including the addition of cinemas and of an interconnected new building across the road from the existing building. The latter project involved extensive liaison with Penrith Council and preparation of a Paramics microsimulation traffic model.
