World Square
The World Square development in the Sydney CBD encompasses an entire city block and includes the Ernst & Young Tower (commercial), Meriton’s World Tower (the tallest residential tower in Sydney), the Avillion Hotel, and the World Square Shopping Centre.
Halcrow MWT provided strategic advice during the master planning stages of development including measures to achieve Sydney City Council’s transport objectives, vehicle access arrangements and parking provisions. Detailed traffic and parking assessments were undertaken for each stage of the development.
Ongoing design advice is being provided on parking layout and vehicle circulation, taxi rank provision, pedestrian access and management, on-street parking and signage plans, loading dock arrangements, and construction management plans.
